Springfield Horseshoe Sandwich

Make the recipe

  1. Cook the beef patties in a skillet until they reach 160°F; season and keep warm.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and cook for one minute.
  3. Whisk in milk and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and paprika.
  4. Place two toast slices on each plate, top with a patty and fries, then spoon over the warm cheese sauce.
