Midwest Recipe BoxA century of suppers

Privacy draft

Privacy, in plain language.

This launch-ready outline must receive owner and legal review before accepting real accounts or payments.

What the service keeps

Account identity from Google, profile preferences, saved recipes, collections, submissions, moderation history, membership status, and essential security records. Payment-card details stay with Stripe and are not stored by Midwest Recipe Box.

Why it is used

Data is used to provide accounts, synchronize recipe boxes, review submissions, deliver paid benefits, prevent abuse, and satisfy payment or legal obligations. It is not sold for behavioral advertising.

Control and deletion

Members may request an export or deletion. Published recipe contributions require a separate removal review so attribution, licenses, and moderation records can be handled correctly. Payment records may be retained where legally required.

Questions or removal requests?
A verified contact address will be added before public launch. Until then, do not submit sensitive personal information.
