Baked Dill Pickles

Old-fashioned baked dill pickles made by packing pickles into jars with dill and garlic, covering with a hot vinegar brine, sealing, and baking gently in the oven.

Make the recipe

  1. Pack pickles Add dill into clean jars. to the jars.
  2. Combine 2 1/2 qt Add garlic water,1 qt vinegar, to the jars. and3/4 cup salt for the brine.
  3. Bring the brine Pour the hot to a boil. brine over the pickles.
  4. Seal the jars Bake at 225°F and place them for 1 1/2 on a cookie sheet hours. with a littlewater.
